Register for the Run of the Charles and Join hundreds of paddlers in canoe and kayak races for everyone — 3, 6 or 9 mile distances or shorter legs in the 14-mile relay race, all ending at the Finish Line Festival with food, music, prizes, and displays.

*Season pass holders: Enter your pass number when making the reservation to receive a 20% discount. Reservations are required.
If you are registered for the 3 or 6 mile races, your boat will be pickup up at our Boston Rental Dock. You will then paddle it about 1/8th of a mile upstream to the race start line. You will return your boat at the Herter Park finish line.
If you are registered for the 9 mile race or 14 mile relay, you will pick up your boat at our Newton Rental Dock. Public parking and race registration is directly across the river at the Norembega parking lot. You will return your boat at the Herter Park finish line.
