Introduction to Sea Kayaking (Coastal Trip)

Experience the amazing over 1,500 miles of MA coastline, ranging from the dramatic rocky shores of Cape Ann to the sandy beaches of Cape Cod and the Islands.

This class covers the same skills as the Introduction to Kayaking series while taking time to enjoy a day along the prettiest sections of the Massachusetts coast.

All of our trips emphasize skills development, but you’ll also spend time touring the area. You’ll learn efficient paddling technique and the necessary strokes to maneuver your kayak in any direction. We also emphasize safety issues such as trip selection and practicing assisted rescues.

Life jacket, paddle, wetsuit, and paddling jacket rentals are included in the price of the trip. Bring a hearty lunch, and dress for the weather! Trips always run unless the weather is extreme; alternate plans will usually be arranged. Trips are approximately 6.5 hours long. Please contact us if you have questions.
