Birthday Parties & Kids’ Groups

Paddle Boston can create a customized birthday party for your child and their friends. We offer canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddleboard rentals, plus instruction, guiding, and picnic setup — even water cannons and ten-person canoes. All of our locations have a waterfront picnic area and are great for birthday events.

Your group can head out on the water on your own, or have our guides lead games and activities for the kids. Reservations are required.

Available Options

• Guided groups — One instructor can accompany up to 8 kids in double kayaks or up to 5 kids in single kayaks. Larger groups can be accommodated with additional instructors.
• Unguided groups — Each adult may accompany up to 6 kids in up to 5 kids’ boats. Child-to-adult ratios apply.
• Boat options — Kids’ kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, adult single or double kayaks, canoes, and ten-person canoes (up to 10 people).

Food & Catering

You’re welcome to bring your own food or arrange catering. Numerous catering options are available at all of our locations.
